Holidays are here! And, since I am an enormous proponent of anything celebratory, especially around Christmas and New Year’s Eve, the next few blog posts will be holiday-centric. For ease, I am categorizing the holiday event schedules by state. Enjoy!
Wyoming Holiday Events
Grand Targhee has some fantastic holiday events: starting on December 22, Trek to the North Pole to visit Santa, then attend a Tree Harvesting Ceremony. In the upcoming days, enjoy a Christmas Tree Lighting event and Fireside Burning of the Yule Log. Then, on December 24 and 25, Branding Iron Grill (featured in the Ski Town Soups cookbook) will host Christmas Dinner, showcasing a special holiday menu. You can also watch a couple of holiday movie, ski with Santa, and enter your best Gingerbread Cookie in a decorating contest.
Jackson Hole has an enormous holiday calendar, filled with spectacular celebrations! Carol with Cathedral Voices, await Santa's arrival at Village Commons, continue caroling at The Four Seasons, watch a showing of the “Polar Express” with a complimentary hot chocolate bar for the kids, and enter a a magical world of dancing bears, giant birds, and colorful adventure in Mozart’s ever-popular masterpiece: ‘The Magic Flute’: A Special Metropolitan Opera Holiday Broadcast.
